Wearing Fresh Flowers

        Wearing fresh flowers in your hair or as a corsage adds a most feminine, beautiful touch to one’s appearance!  It is a very charming and cheerful thing to do that really has a way of brightening the day not only for the one wearing the flowers, but for those who see them.  Bringing brightness, cheer, and charm to our families and others is important, it is sharing a wonderful, meaningful gift – the gift of hope and true beauty.

        A woman doesn’t have to be going to special occasion or getting married to wear a corsage or flowers in her hair, she can easily wear them when she goes to the grocery, to meet with other women, shopping, and even around the house on a day that she doesn’t have heavy cleaning to do.

        To get a corsage or pretty flowers for your hair, check out local florists online to get an idea of costs.  When you decide what you’d like, contact your local florist to see what can be worked out (sometimes they don’t have the exact item shown on their webpage and they will need time to make your corsage, especially if it’s custom made for you).  You can likely have one made in the types of flowers you like best!   

        Children love to see lovely flowers on their momma, and it sure is something pretty for a husband (and you) to look at, too!  It cost a little money, but is worth every penny to occasionally do.

        Spring is a good time to wear corsages, as you won’t crush the flowers with a heavy coat.  It is not a good idea to wear a corsage if you are going to be doing a lot of cleaning or activity – they are best worn when a woman is going to have time to relax or do light activity.  If you get one and wear it during the day, you can take it off and put it in the refrigerator while you make supper, then put it back on when it’s time to sit down to eat.
